The new Toshiba EQP Global ranked first in tested efficiency at 91.90% and was below 81A, the NEMA defined rating for Locked Rotor Amps (LRA). The comparison test was performed on 10 HP, 4-pole, 460 V, 60 Hz motors.
The testing was conducted at Toshiba International Corporation's (TIC) testing facility in Houston, Texas. TIC's lab is NVLAP certified (National Voluntary Lab Accreditation Program - NVLAP Lab Code 200088) and follows IEEE Standard 112 for testing polyphase induction motors and generators. |
