Toshiba recently held a two-day electronic waste recycling event in partnership with Best Buy at their Mission Viejo, CA store.

Since 2005, Toshiba has participated in over 20 recycling events around the US, helping to not only displace recyclable metals, plastics, and glass from reaching local landfills, but also deferring the costs from local citizens. These efforts support our global commitment to reducing Toshiba's impact on the natural environment. In 2006 alone, Toshiba globally recycled 67,000 tons of products.

Over 30,000 pounds of waste, such as TVs, computers, monitors, DVD players and printers, were hauled in by hundreds of locals. We are proud to have worked with Best Buy to give Orange County residents the opportunity to dispose of their consumer electronics in an environmentally safe and responsible manner.
