Joint Efforts to Promote Women's Health:
Toshiba Medical do Brasil Ltda. (TMB), the Sao Paulo City Hall, and the Radiology and Image Diagnosis Society of Sao Paulo jointly lead efforts to promote women's gynecologic examinations for a region of the city. Out of 6,000 examinations, 10 % of them were diagnosed with serious problems. TMB, Siemens and GE contributed ultrasound machines and equipment. TMB technicians also volunteered to provide equipment's training and the employees help organized the activity.
