Research and development has always been an integral part of our product development and manufacturing. A substantial amount of our budget and workforce is dedicated to in-house research engineering. Our Industrial Division houses the UPS Global R&D Center and high-power motor and drive testing facilities. We also have an academic research office at Texas A&M University, work with partners from other Toshiba companies and have various technological cooperation agreements with our global partners.
