The I/O Buffer
Information Specification (IBIS) is an accurate, yet fast behavioural method
of modelling I/O buffers based on V/I curves derived from simulation and measurement
data. IBIS models are supported by a multitude of Analog simulation tools, whether
SPICE based or non-SPICE based and are used for Signal Integrity (SI) analysis
of device interconnectivity at a system level.
