The Toshiba shock sensor product line consists of low-noise
voltage and charged amplifiers designed to work with piezoelectric shock
sensors.
The family is designed for use in applications that require shock
sensors for safe and efficient operation. The sensors either allow
a system to protect against system shocks by stopping the write operation
or include a feed forward operation that enables a system to compensate
for excessive shock and continue operation. Some of the products include
multiple amplifiers, comparators in small profile packages for cost-
and size-constrained applications such as disk drives and video cameras.
