Today, we offer thin wires and various other products to meet a wide range of customer requirements. From smelting to final shaping, these devices are produced in our own facilities, or those of our group companies, to supply both the Japanese market and the global market.

Three Basic Materials
We have three basic materials for Toshiba tungsten rods and wires. They are doped tungsten, thoriated tungsten, and rhenium-alloyed tungsten. Their many variations meet a broad range of customer uses as shown in the table below.
Toshiba also has three materials for molybdenum wires and rods, pure molybdenum (M10), cobalt and tin alloyed molybdenum (M20) and doped molybdenum (M40). Customer uses are shown in the table below.
