Business Development- Program Manager

Toshiba's worldwide presence in the digital market has been creating great impact on new technologies and opportunities in this vital technology area. Toshiba Cloud Infrastructure and Platform Services BU, within Toshiba, is looking for a bright Business Development Program Manager to help organize and manage business models and market opportunities, as well as foster business and market engagements and adoption of new technologies and feed ongoing customer requirement into the organization. We seek passion for next generation of Cyber Security, Big Data Analytics and associated technologies. Candidate understanding of systems, storage, software, OS (security, APIs, management, etc.) and the key trends and vendors in these spaces, is essential to success.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Business, Partner Go-To-Market Strategy tracking
  • Understand the economics, dynamics and intricacy of Analytics, IoT, Cyber Security
  • Ability to recognize possible future opportunities, assess future market dynamics and redefine investment strategies and/or business models to exploit market opportunities
  • Be a market expert, evangelist, customer engagement leader, working closely with technologists and solutions architects to define new opportunities and execute against their early adoption
  • Engage with potential customers to understand their business objectives and demonstrate the value proposition of our platform
  • Program Manage Business deployment and go-to-market of our platform and custom management during the pre-sales process and demonstrate to customers
  • Assist in the development of RFP responses and drive to close sales opportunities
  • Deliver custom management by identifying functional requirements, validating solution designs with Engineering, and owning the solution implementation
  • Conduct impact analysis and support communication of new product releases
  • Collaborate with the Service Provider Program team (field/channel marketing), solution marketing, go-to-market team and field to scale our messaging and drive revenues around our solutions
  • Pro-actively evaluate landscape and make recommendations to the partnerships team on ways to grow the ecosystem through our existing partnerships
  • Evaluate new strategic partnerships and lead the platform integration process

    Required Experience:
     

  • Bachelor Degree and 7+ years of experience, Masters preferred
  • Experiences may include: New product strategy, market and business development, Project Management. Potential backgrounds may include strategic business acumen, and/or finance
  • Proven and thorough understanding of the technology industry, ideally with experience in Cyber Security, Analytic, private cloud, public cloud, or (e.g.) software-as-a-service (SaaS) businesses and beyond
  • Demonstrated ability to map markets, understand ecosystems, identify market trends and opportunities, get deep into products and technologies, and work closely with big, strategic customers
  • Fluent use of the English language for professional level verbal and written communications
  • Proven ability to conduct presentations to wide audience and participants and to the "C" level executives
  • Demonstrated ability to evangelize and secure executive support
  • Domestic and International travel of up to 25%
  • Security and analytics experience is highly desirable
