The Storage Device Division (SDD), previously part of Toshiba America Information Systems, Inc. (TAIS) merged with TAEC on October 1, 2011, creating a unified and focused organization with enhanced operating efficiency, centralized customer support, and merged product development and sales teams. Toshiba storage products include hard disk drives (HDDs), solid state drives (SSDs) and NAND flash memories for consumer electronics, computer, automotive and enterprise applications.
