As a result, Toshiba has given increased attention to making solutions available to its customers that use new materials, and has transitioned a significant portion of its manufacturing to RoHS-Compatible products.
Toshiba has a broad selection of products available today that are intended to meet the requirements of the Directive 2002/95/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 January 2003 on the use of certain hazardous substances in electrical and electronic equipment, which became effective July 1, 2006.
