p> JOB OVERVIEW:
Responsible for the entire Mobile Communication Division’s supply chain - customer order receipt, order entry, and product delivery to Toshiba’s customers. In addition, responsible for operational success throughout the product life cycles - product introductions and end of life as well as p rovide sales, purchasing-sales-inventory (PSI) and PSI performance information to division management. Key functions include data collection, analysis, reconciliation, and report creation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Manage order fulfillment and release processes for mobile carriers, Mobile Communications Company, Toshiba’s production factory and US warehouses.
- Interface with sales, marketing, service, SCM and manufacturing to collect, analyze and track data pertaining to divisional plan.
- Responsible for core planning concepts – supply, demand and inventory balancing.
- Establish weekly and monthly PSI of all Mobile Communications Division products to meet budget and forecast requirements. Creates purchase orders based on monthly PSI Purchase requirements. Creates and executes shipping instructions to Mobile Communication Company and coordinates shipments and receipts with the logistics group.
- Ensures that inventory purchases are in accordance with budget and forecast, while meeting the DOI targets.
- Ensures timely delivery of products in the most economical and quality conscious manner. Control all Purchasing activities from PO creation, tracking to receipt, and any A/P Reconciliation required.
- Responsible for the logistics and purchasing process for Mobile Communications Division.
- Responsible for managing inbound, outbound and inventory control processes with customers and third party service providers.
- Create and maintain complex spreadsheets for analysis, reporting and charting.
- Organize and prepare reports documenting findings and recommendations.
- Some administrative support duties as assigned.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- BA/BS in Business Administration or an equivalent combination of education and related business experience.
- A minimum of 8+ years experience in a business operations role, preferable working in a customer and vendor facing capacity .
- Strong analytical skills, high level of accuracy and demonstrated skill at extracting data from multiple sources and consolidating into management friendly information.
- Excellent time management skills with demonstrated ability to operate in a fast paced environment and juggle ever-changing priorities and deadlines.
- Ability to work effectively with Sales, Marketing, SCM and Customer Service Representatives.
- Strong working knowledge and experience with Oracle order management system.
- Strong experience using the entire suite of MS Office, with an emphasis on Excel and Powerpoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence and persuade with a positive attitude.
- Possess the technical ability to interface with the Information Technology Team to support the mobile carriers and business units for the transfer of Electronic Data Information.
- Possess the ability and skills to work with Toshiba customers to manage improvements in the supply chain process. Coordinate with customers to understand their delivery expectations and performance metrics.
