Toshiba DSD's new PCX4500 Cable Modem Wireless Gateway will provide cable subscribers with a complete home networking solution. Packed with benefits such as the incorporated 802.11b/g wireless router for improved wireless connection speeds and range, the PCX4500 is CableHome 1.1-based and DOCSIS 2.0-based and includes Internet security technology from Jungo Software Technologies.
Jungo's OpenRG™ technology provides users with a Stateful Packet Inspection (SPI) Firewall and an exceptional bundle of features, such as web site filtering, port blocking, application blocking and many other features. The PCX4500 also includes a 10/100 ethernet port, one USB port and Texas Instrument's TurboDOX™ Bandwidth Acceleration Software - with speeds up to 20 times faster than non-TurboDOX™ cable modems.
The PCX4500 contains everything the cable broadband subscriber wants today: the speed and range of 802.11g, the fastest speeds and capabilities available in a cable modem, and the security of a Jungo OpenRG™ RG-Firewall™.
Connecting to the Internet and configuring the home network is a breeze. Included with the PCX4500 is an easy-to-use wizard that configures all of the computers in your network, tests the modem and gets you online quickly and painlessly.
