| Q: |
Where
do I find a device driver for my Toshiba CD-ROM or DVD? |
| A: |
Microsoft
'95, '98 and NT are shipped with SCSI and ATAPI device drivers installed
that work correctly with all of Toshiba's CD-ROM and DVD drives.
If you are installing a Toshiba SCSI drive, you must use a device
driver that was written for the SCSI host adapter you have installed
in your system. If your system can not locate the driver during installation,
contact the manufacturer of your SCSI card for a copy of the correct
driver. You can also check out our "Device
Driver's" WebPage for help in locating SCSI device drivers.

| Q: |
I'm
looking for a DOS/Windows 3.1 driver for a Toshiba SCSI
CD-ROM/DVD-ROM, is there such a driver? |
| A: |
Windows
3.1 does not require any special drivers. If the DOS driver is installed
correctly and recognized under DOS, Windows will see it. The device
drivers that you are requesting have to match with the "SCSI"
controller card you are using. For example, if you are using
"Adaptec" controller you must use an "Adaptec"
driver. Check out our "Device
Driver's" WebPage for more information and links to interface
card manufacturers.
