Toshiba
recommends that only trained professionals install this CD-ROM into your laptop/notebook.
Installation Notes
- The XM-1902B CD-ROM has no jumpers that need to be set
- Mounting orientation: ±15° (horizontally within back & front/right & left)
- When mounting drive use 4 M2-PO.4 tapping holes located on the left and right sides of
drive.
- Recommended screw tightening depth is:
Left side: 2.2mm - 2.5mm
Right side: 1.2mm - 1.5mm
- When mounting drive, the tightening torque of the four screws must be even. Recommended
screw tightening torque is 0.2Nm.
Software Driver
Toshiba's CD-ROM Drive is
"plug n’ play". In Windows, when you apply power to your computer and
boot-up, the system will recognize new hardware, and begin installing Window’s ATAPI
driver. If you prefer using DOS, download the ATAPI driver from our web site.
