RX Series

Advanced System Protection

Common system protection features found in standalone motor protection relays are standard, allowing users to customize protection levels by setting warning thresholds, separating trip curves for start and run modes, utilizing a learned overload curve, or activating remote/automatic overload reset options.

 

Comprehensive Monitoring

Provides metering for three-phase currents, voltages, kW, kVA, kVAR, power factor, frequency, kWH, elapsed run time, run cycle count, lock-out time, reset time, and remaining thermal capacity.

 

Built-in Flexible Control Features

Includes a real-time clock for scheduling and controlling duty cycles, starts per hour, minimum time between starts, and coast-down/backspin timers.

 

Cost and Space Savings

Built-in features can eliminate the need for additional devices, saving both cost and space.

 

TE-RTD 12 Series

Advanced Monitoring

Provides advanced RTD (Resistor Temperature Detector) and differential current monitoring capabilities, ensuring precise temperature and current tracking.

 

Multiple Inputs and Outputs

Includes 12 built-in RTD inputs, 3 programmable output relays, 2 isolated analog inputs, 1 isolated analog output, and 3 isolated digital inputs.

 

High Accuracy

Analog inputs feature an accuracy of better than 1%, while the analog outputs boast an accuracy of better than 0.5%

 

Ease of Installation

Removable terminal blocks for I/O and DIN rail or back panel mounting.

Insulated Bearings

  • An electric motor operating on an adjustable speed drive is at risk for premature bearing failure caused by stray currents. Experience indicates using insulated bearings on both ends of the motors is the most effective way to protect the motor from destructive currents. A high level of bearing protection is especially beneficial in applications where motor maintenance and replacement are difficult.
  • Extended Horsepower Capability

  • Extended horsepower capability allows a smaller motor to run at a higher horsepower than its baseline depending on the application requirements. This provides motor users potential cost savings while achieving the same motor performance.
  • Insulation with Wide Thermal Capability

  • Critical cooling motors utilize many Class H insulation materials in its winding designs, which provides increased thermal protection. These motors operate with a very low temperature rise at rated conditions, giving them a wide thermal margin and extended motor life.
  • Low Vibration

  • A vibration level exceeding NEMA MG1 requirements provides stability and durability by prolonging motor and bearing life and helping to reduce downtime.
