The LF664 Electromagnetic Flow Meter operates based on Faraday’s Law of Electromagnetic Induction to measure process flow. The system consists of two components: a detector, which the fluid passes through and where low-level signals proportional to the flow rate are generated, and a converter, which supplies excitation current, amplifies the detector signals, and converts them into a standardized 4–20 mA DC output. The meter features a Mount-Anywhere magnetic field distribution technology; the meter is highly immune to upstream flow disturbances. The LF664 only requires 3 diameter straight pipe upstream. It features 0.5% of rate accuracy with:
±0.3 % of Rate for 20″ and 24” (500 mm and 600 mm)
±0.5% of Rate for 28” to 78”
The LF664 is available in both integral and remote-mount configurations, with line sizes ranging from 500 mm to 1,950 mm (20″ to 78″), making it suitable for large-diameter flow applications. The integral mount configurations are available up to 36”.
