Best Laptop I have ever had.

When I was working (presently retired), I traveled world wide and for 20+ years always carried a laptop computer. I replaced my computer every two years and with the exception of one replacement, I always purchased a Toshiba. I never had a problem with any Toshiba. The one time that I purchased a different laptop, the display died at the two year mark. Needless to say I went back to Toshiba and would not have any other brand. My model C55-A5245 Toshiba is the best and cheapest laptop I have ever had.

Good laptop, cheaper than tablet

This is my second Toshiba laptop. I thought the price was very reasonable. I had absolutely no problems with my first laptop purchased five years ago, so decided to go for another Toshiba. I've been very satisfied and would recommend this laptop to anyone, even folks looking for a tablet. Much cheaper and it does more than a tablet.

Good gaming laptop

I got this laptop to use for mainly gaming. I'm able to run some high graphics game with no problems. Outside of the battery not lasting very long for some games, it's a really good laptop.

very smart tool!

Used older laptop with very little memory or speed. The Toshiba works great, and easy to set up and use. Excellent definition and tone.

Very nice laptop

Been using this for a month. I like it. The only complaints I have, is about the position of the network jack (too close to the front of the unit, interferes with my wireless mouse) and the SD card should seat farther inside the front ( so it can be left in the computer--- SAFELY )

I Like My Laptop - There Is One Annoying Thing

Overall, I like my Toshiba Satellite C55-A5245 Laptop. However, the factory installed Internet Explorer is very annoying, it constantly pops-up, and interrupts while I am on other sites

My old dell laptop has windows XP on it which I was really used to. Since mirosoft quit supporting XP I decided it was time for a new one. After looking around for awhile I chose this one. I heard many bad things about windows 8 and only good things about windows 7. This laptop has windows 7 and it took me all of about 10 seconds to get familiar with it. I've had it for about a month now and really like it. The only negative thing about it is I wish a better owners manual would have came with it. Not enough info about the laptop. Especially if you are a beginner. Over all for the money this is a really good laptop.

I wish I had gone with a Intel i5 instead of i3 and 8gb memory. I bought this with 4gb. I have purchased another 4gb to add. It's not near as fast as my desktop and speed is what I'm all about but this laptop is for my wife and she's satisfied with it. She had it reboot once unexpectedly but it has not happened again. It's decent for the price.

It is insane to ship a new computer without a hard copy manual, a list containing all INCLUDED features and how to access and use them as well as a diagram of all keys, input and output plugs and other physical features. And worst of all; the keyboard. It is too small, the keys are too close together and are MUCH too sensitive.
