Toshiba Click: Well worth the money!

POSTED BY: SquidInTheTub , Minnesota
Overall rating: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5

I believe that this convertible has the most potential of all the computers I have looked at so far. Truly, for the money, no one is offering the amount of computer that Toshiba is: 500 Gigabytes hard drive when all the others are offering maybe 32-64 Gigs. The screen size is also a bonus, and frankly, it is not as heavy as it may seem due to its size. It is actually lightweight. My only concern so far is the computer's battery life. Perhaps I got a bad battery but mine did not last anywhere near the time listed online. So, for the money and for anyone wanting the benefits of a convertible, this is the one I would suggest.

do not buy

I buy it because it looked better than the Microsoft Surface, but it's way too slow and only use it to watch youtube and read news, I can not put games, very slow, this is my review of this notebook, I hope not to offend anyone.

SelfDischarging and Static electricity!

POSTED BY: JGMonarcas , Valparaiso, Chile

SelfDischarging battery. If the computer is off and disconected, the battery goes to 90% in 5-6 h. Also very noticeable static electricity on the case when connected to A/C converter. It was a matter of designing it with case connected to earth and an earth plug in the A/C converter!!

Nice but unusable device

The click has a nice design and, from an external point of view, a very interesting product. However, the rapid self-discharging battery (in switched off mode), the electric surface tension if power is plugged and the very slow processor destroys the first look advantages. Interesting for me was to hear that the battery discharging (about 30% in 1 day) and the remarkable electric surface tension is within Toshibas parameter. OK, a mobile device that consumes power for nothing – this really safes the environment.

Notebook without Battery

Nice design, good form factor (13.3"), smart solution (detachable). These are the good things. However, really bad are the battery, which quickly discharge even though it is switched off (3 days and both batteries are empty). During charging the back side of the tablet is under power tension (really inconvenient). Last but not least, the processor is unworthy.
