Love my laptop!

I have no complaints about this laptop as I've had it about 6 months now. I was glad I could put XP on the dual boot as I needed this for the business program. I mostly use the Vista tho. It is very fast and don't have no problems with it at all...would highly recommend it to anyone!

Great Laptop for the price.

Great laptop. This is my second Toshiba laptop. My only issue is that I could not connect to my wireless device in "N-only" mode (G mode ok). Other than the box and internet, I could not verify a "wireless-N" thru the device manager on my laptop...system info feature that needs to be added. My laptop can't even find my wireless device during the scan for networks. From talking with D-Link my router seems to be set-up correctly. I'm not sure if it was an assembly line error or what. I guess I'll have to wait for my next router or laptop to pinpoint the problem. Other than the network issue, the speed and performance of this laptop is excellent. I can run my Notorn Virus scan with no noticeable lag issues while on the internet.

Great Buy

This is my 3rd laptop and by far the best. This is by far the best combination that Toshiba has come up with. Very fast in all programs,Even runnig multiple at a time with no delay. The 64 bit operating system and Dual core processor work great together making a do it all laptop. As with all high output laptops comes heat so I use a cool pad that prevents overheating.

I bought this laptop in Iraq when my Gateway burned up. The conditions there aren't the best, but even with the dust and heat, this laptop never gave me any problems at all. Great performance and speed. Huge memory and RAM a big plus. Highly recommended!

Pros~ FAST. 4 gig, dual core, vista 64 = zoom Roomy= 300+ gig HD for a laptop is a great deal of long external HD Cost effective= easy worth more compared to better systems D: drive= read the em again...what more do u need? Cons~ Bad video card. Intel chipsets are ok for common use, but we need better, gamer based Vid adapters! touch pad is a bit hard to see...if ur not payin attention youll easy scroll of of it and not even know. common, Toshiba! get with the program...a led or black lit keyboard on a laptop goes a long way! Batt= says 3 hours...really like 1 hr 52 min...i timed from full charge NOTE~ Toshi's face r software is quite awesome.

Its a very good laptop with all features except blue tooth. The processing speed is awsome.

This was an amazing buy on paper, but whenever possible, look for a review from someone who's had time to get to know a product and doesn't still have stars in their eyes about how great it runs out of the box. After a little over a year, I can say without hesitation that no one should purchase this computer. Over the course of normal use (never kept on for an excessive amount of time, stored and cared for fastidiously), the motherboard on this machine burned out twice in the first ten months. And then again, one month out of warranty. So that's that. Warranty repairs were simple enough through a local Toshiba outlet, which is a service they've since discontinued, and most problems now require shipping the computer back to Toshiba in, I believe, Kentucky. But the motherboard went again halfway through my thirteenth month of ownership. Warranty expired. Nothing to be done. Yes, I could pay to have it replaced, but what would be the point? Am I going to do that two or three times a year from now on, just for the privilege of using the computer I purchased? I don't think so, nor am I likely to buy another Toshiba computer in the future.
