Best Laptop I Have Ever Used.

I have been using HP laptops now for a while because of the low prices but after my screen went out on my brand new HP laptop (because I dropped it), I purchased a Toshiba L305-S5911 and the difference between the quality of the Toshiba and the HP is astonishing. This Toshiba is the best laptop I have ever bought.

It's runs good but for some reason this computer turn off on me a few time without no reason. It does not have a wide screen either which is kind of disappointing.

This laptop gives you lots of bang for your buck and comes with a generous ammount of Ram and a very fast processor. The most notable thing about it is that it comes with a 64bit version of Window's vista installed as opposed to the standard 32. Like most Vista based computers, this laptop takes a while to start and turn off; however, once it get's going, you can multitask between several programs and the computer works like a champ. Pro's: It run's multiple heavy duty programs simultaneously without taxing your patience. It run's the adobe master suite very well. Vista 64 is better than Vista 32... performance wise. Con's: This computer CANNOT be downgraded to Window's XP 64 bit edition (I tried... it worked awfully). Theoretically, it can be downgraded to XP 32 bit; however, that OS maxes out at 3 gigabytes of RAM meaning that you are losing a gigabyte. It uses Vista 64 bit. If your a computer nerd, know that program's like Sandboxie will not work on this computer as well as a variety of Game's and security applications. Kaspersky Internet Suite seems to be the closest thing you can get to a sandboxed browser with this computer. Con: Toshiba loads there own software to operate the video camera and CDROM drive, among other thing's. I found there software to be borderline junk ware so I uninstalled it. Worth mentioning: There have been 2 Bios updates for this computer over the last 2 month's... not sure if that's good or bad.
