Real Good Laptop!

I have very little experience with laptop computers. The Toshiba works exceptionally well for me. I would like to see the power and usb ports moved from the right side to the back of the computer. If you use a wired mouse (as I do most of the time), the mouse wire tangles with the thumb drive and the power cord. A wireless mouse helps. The mouse on the computer works well, I just don't like them. The keyboard is comfortable to use.

I received mine as a gift for Christmas and am very happy with the way it preforms and the great keyboard for a laptop. I like the fact that it is not very heavy and is easy to carry around for travel and babysitting.

I probably would not have considered Toshiba as my first choice, but found a great deal a couple of months ago. So far, this unit running Windows 7 Home Premium has been fine, with no apparent problems. Does not heat up too much, is quiet, and as long as the glossy screen does not bother you, would would well for most home purposes.

pros - awesome value great quality large screen great graphics card for the price point perfect touch pad(looks great too) durable finish(no scratches yet) cons - absolutely horrible speakers/sound(very quiet, zero low end bass, muddy when used with ear buds, terrible volume adjustment and placement) terrible battery life power cord plug-in feels very fragile bad vent placement(couldn't it be placed in the back?) only 3 USB ports no built in cam(not a big deal to me)

MSRP: $519.99
