1st day full of frustration

Overall rating: 2 out of 5 2 out of 5

Really too early for a review, but I must mention some of these issues. Windows 8 is enough to make you want to jump off a bridge, but the mouse pad and clicker on this laptop have me frustrated too....I have to click on something between 4 and 8 times before it responds. I bought this computer because it sounded like it should be super fast, but my old Vista is looking a lot better to me right now. Can something be done to fix the clicker/mouse pad problem?? The pointer is very hard to control, wanders all over the place....I hope you can come up with a fix for this and email it to me...Please!! I'll never get anything done!

Don't Buy This

I had an HP for years and loved it, but as a broke college student I decided to try something very similar, but a little cheaper when I needed to replace it. The Toshiba Satellite seemed to be pretty similar just missing a couple features my HP had so I decided to try it. After using it for a couple months now, I wish I would have saved more money and went with another HP. The only thing I've downloaded on it so far is Microsoft Office and a couple virus scanners, but it still runs sooo slow. Windows 8 is already annoying enough. I don't know how often I have been typing a paper and the screen switches to something else. The mouse pad for this is TERRIBLE!!! Definitely recommend getting a wireless mouse because you have to click this pad so many times for it to actually work. Also, never in my life have I seen so many pop ups when I use the internet. I have downloaded numerous pop up blockers and while they have blocked some, my screen is still loaded with advertisements it makes it nearly impossible to look anything up. Lastly, I noticed another great feature today, which is apparently you can't choose when your computer updates. Nothing like working on a research paper and have your computer shut down for 10 minutes so it can update then takes forevvvvver to start back up again. I'm a full time student and work full time so I don't have time for that! The only thing decent about this computer is the battery life seems ok and it's pretty light weight. It's too late for me to return mine, but not too late for you so don't buy this piece of junk! Spend the extra money and get either an HP or Mac.
