My New Toshiba Laptop

I had an old slow computer running Windows XP so it was time for a change. I told the salesman what I used the computer for and he recommended this one. No regrets. It is not the most expensive or the top of the line but it is fast, works fine, and I have had no problems at all in the one month I have had it.

The resolution is great. It is very easy to use the touch screen. I really like the DVD slot. Most laptops in this price range do not have one.

More fun than my 10 year old Toshiba, very quick and nice screen especially for my photos.

This lap top appears to be performing well. I like the option of using the mouse or touch screen and alternate often. I moved from windows XP to 8.1 and easily adapted to the change. I recently downloaded a book and enjoy reading on this computer. I purchased this computer about a month ago and am satisfied with the performance to date.

Not too shabby!

Overall the laptop is fast, very responsive. The only issue I have is the terrible sound from the stock speakers, but hey its a laptop, I simply use a sound bar and problem solved. Nice looking design and the 10 keys are handy to have, the HD cam is great for video calls and colors are fairly vibrant not the best but quite good.

Good laptop for the price!

I am satisfied except for one thing............the sound is terrible. I can't even get it to sound better with ear buds. I've never had this problem with any other computer. I love to watch movies and it is very upsetting to me to have the sound as bad as it is when watching movies. Nearly took it back.

Don't Drop it!!!

I bought this laptop. Was happy with it until I dropped it about 1 foot. It hit on a corner and cracked the glass touch screen. I cannot fond a replacement screen so now I have to use it this way. The laptop worked well until then. A little slow though. came with 4GB going to push it to 8 to see if that helps.

Disappointing Laptop

This laptop has issues staying connected to my network. It doesn't download very fast and the flash player has been an issue since I bought it. I do not have many programs loaded on this device but the Toshiba programs running in the background, I believe, are what slows it down. Not happy.

Don't buy this Laptop

You really don't want to buy one of these. They're defective right out of the box. Traded it back at the store for an HP which works great -- right out of the box.

Dislike touch screen and lack of tutorial
