I replaced my Acer laptop with a Toshiba laptop. I had loved my Acer, but my new Toshiba is even better! With a Toshiba Satellite L75D-A7288 Laptop, you won't be disappointed.

The cpu is up-to-date and powerful. I picked it because of the removable chip feature that Intel does not have.

It is a very fast laptop. the only thing that bothers me is that the mousepad is not centered - its off to the left of center. I love the large, clear screen

The L75D-A7288 is an excellent, beautiful machine, I normally build and program computers for friends and family but I needed something Now not Later, I couldn't wait so I purchased this model on the fly with low expectations because simply it wasn't built by me so I didn't know what was exactly in it, I mean I read the box but that doesn't say much, anyway this machine has surpassed every expectation I have had, I have been able to edit photos in photoshop and lightroom faster than the last computer I had bought which was an Acer. which over time I upgraded myself. This machine hasn't needed any upgrades it runs smooth, and I'm happy with the battery life, for a 17'" screen the battery is more than capable, people complaining about battery life need to realize bigger computers demand more power, and you can always find after market batteries that last longer if that's your problem. Overall this Computer is more than capable for running anything you can possibly throw at it, and if need be you can always upgrade the internal memory, video cards and ram. I love it.

With the size of memory and HHD installed I would have expected better performance. Battery life is poor. Comes with Norton Anti-Virus which is a poor program. I got a virus on computer in less than a week of owning this. Had to restore to earlier point.
