Pros: Windows 7. First start up was quick and effortless. Everything seems to be functioning as intended, but I haven't used the laptop much in a few weeks to figure out every nuance. Less bloatware than my last laptop. As for the limitations of small laptop speakers they are the best I have heard. The LED display is bright, sharp and has vivid color. Cons: 1600x900 display, plays at 720P. Its claim of "HD entertainment" would benefit from full 1920x1080 resolution. Also the viewing angle is very narrow which I don't like but may not be an issue for some. Light from the backlit keyboard shines bright between the keys when viewed at an angle. I primarily use in my dimly lit living room while watching TV and I'm looking at my keyboard at a sharp angle. This is my first backlit, I'm not sure if this is a problem with all backlit keyboards or just this one. It is way to bright and it is very distracting and creates glare to the point I will have to make a stand to tilt the laptop more towards me but it will still be a problem from side angles. Summary: Great laptop, I would recommend but be aware of display, it is not 1080P and has poor viewing angle. Backlit keyboard light leaks to brightly in between the keys. I cannot comment on touch pad because I use USB mouse, I dislike all touch pads. I gave 4 stars for battery life because it is 6 cell, I have not used for more than 10 minutes on battery so do not have real world experience.

There is much to like about this computer but the touch pad is so sensitive that it interferes with everything I am trying to do. Windows pop in, the screen expands or contracts, and it generally makes performing options difficult.

Worst responding keyboard ever. my atari 400 was betterr. I ca't type a sentence without it either missing or adding keystrokes. Great machine if youu do't need to key anything i. For clarity, I ave not corrected any of the keystrokes in this review.
