Great preformer in its price range

Great graphics and other features such as the touch screen. I minor downgraded "features" because of the Windows 8 software. Plays the better games well, although if you use an actual mouse on the right side, the hot air coming out of the vent is annoying on your hand. I use a paper deflector

Quality and Quantity

Best value for the price and has more than enough features. Graphics are great, speed is great. The quad-core processor is lighting fast and the laptop never fails to impress me with all of its features. I don't know if you'll find a better deal than this!

Great Laptop!

I bought this laptop after it was suggested to me by a close friend who owns a previous model. I was very pleasantly surprised at the performance and all the features it possessed. I added a solid state drive and 8 more gigs of ram and it's moves like lightning. I'm very pleased!

Overall good laptpop

Display is very nice; boot up speed is very fast. The only minus so far is that it does not have an HDD status LED. I ended up installing a utility that places this status on the toolbar. Otherwise a very nice laptop.

Great except trackpad

Overall rating: 4 out of 5 4 out of 5

Loved the computer except for the trackpad (which is the only reason it received only 3 stars for performance). Great specs, all-around performance, value. The "tilting" trackpads are a disaster though - the finger slips just slightly when you press for the click, so you slide off of the item you wanted to click on. May not be an issue for some applications, but it was awfully frustrating for me. Returned it and will get another similar model with a conventional track pad.

Such a terrible mouse.

The built in mouse for this laptop is the worst mouse I've ever had the displeasure of using in my entire life. The buttons are integrated into the touch-pad so there is no way to click without risking moving the cursor. It's also really easy to accidentally click the wrong side because there is no seam between the left and right buttons. I've missed clicks, I've spent minuets doing things that would have otherwise taken me seconds... I thought that windows 8 would be the hardest thing about this computer. No. Also, the touch screen doesn't allow for easy right-clicks. I've never had to buy a plug-in mouse for a laptop before, but this laptop made me do it. There's also a tap-click feature. I know some people like that, but others really, really don't. It wouldn't be an issue if there were an option to disable it without entering the registry. On the upside, I've gotten very good at using keyboard shortcuts while I've been avoiding using my mouse.
