Toshiba’s 587 Frame Motor Series is a NEMA Premium® Efficiency option for motors to be used in severe duty applications. Their compact footprint, totally enclosed fan cooled design, and exceptional high-starting torques help these motors to provide outstanding reliability and performance in some of the toughest applications.
Toshiba’s comprehensive portfolio of motors, including those in the 587 Frame Motor Series, can be used with Toshiba adjustable speed drives, providing excellent reliability and performance. Toshiba International Corporation (TIC) offers a wide selection of energy-efficient motor and drive packages* that are intended for use in a variety of applications. An example of our motor-drive package offerings is a 587 Frame Motor used with Toshiba’s MTX2®-15 UL Type 3R/4/RX Outdoor Drive, both of which are manufactured under the same roof at TIC’s Houston facility.
