Toshiba’s heavy-duty S15 Microdrive is a compact, high-performance solution developed to control a wide range of variable and constant torque applications across multiple industries. The S15 features a two-wire RS485 communication port, expanded PID control and is capable of working with permanent magnet (PM) motors, providing greater flexibility in motor selection. Extensive capabilities include past trip monitoring with data storage for the last eight faults, a rotary encoder, and LED display. Compact Design
Distinguishes the S15 as one of the smallest drives available in the industry. Its compact design allows installation in tight spaces, providing users with more valuable real estate for running applications.
Easy Installation and Programming
Install and program the S15 drive with minimal downtime, making it efficient and user-friendly. DIN Rail Kits allow for easy drive mounting onto a pre-existing DIN inside a cabinet or on a panel.
Power the Control Section with 24 VDC
+SU Terminal allows programming the drive without needing 230 V, 460 V, or 600 V three-phase power, simplifying the setup process.
Tough Environment
Engineered to endure extreme environments, the S15 can operate at temperatures up to 122°F (50°C) without derating. It can also be configured to function at temperatures exceeding 122°F (50°C) with a de-rate.

Ultimate application flexibility with Toshiba’s advanced vector-control algorithm, achieving 0.1% sensor-less speed regulation. Energy-saving, user-selectable V/Hz patterns make the S15 a smart choice for any application.

Sets the S15 apart from the competition with one of the most robust micro-drive overload ratings of 110% full-load amp rating for continuous operation and 150% for up to one minute.
