E-18: Analog input disconnecting

Cause:

E-18: Analog input disconnecting fault occurs when the input on the II terminal falls lower
than the values set in Parameter F633 [II analog input disconnection detection level]

Clearing:

Check the analog input on the II terminal. Verify that wiring for this input is not damaged or
broken at any point during the run.
Verify that you are seeing a DC input current that is larger than the value in F633.

If you are seeing a DC current on the II input, but it regularly falls below the value set in F633,
consider adjusting F633 above this minimum level.

Inspect the motor and driven equipment for issues prior to clearing any faults.

Use one of the following methods to clear the fault.

• The [STOP/RESET] button on the AS3 keypad was pressed twice in quick succession
• Activate a digital input that has been programmed to “Reset” function
• Set the tyP (F007) Parameter to: 4: Clear past trips

Discussion

This fault is often seen if the control wires delivering current to the II terminal are cut or broken.
Make sure that these control wires are routed so as to avoid damage.
