E-29: Control power option failure

Cause:
E-29 Control power option failure is caused by a failure of externally supplied control power into the +SU and CC terminals on the ASD. Typically this can mean one of the following. 1) Failure of the external control power supply (<20VDC).
2) The setting of Parameter F647: Control power option failure detection is incorrect.

Clearing:
Clearing this fault requires restoration of the control power to the drive 1) Verify that the external control power supply is providing a minimum of 20VDC on the input terminals +SU and CC. If not, service or replace the power supply. 2) If external control power is not being used, set [F647] = "0". Inspect the motor and driven equipment for issues prior to clearing any faults. Use one of the following methods to clear the fault.
• The [STOP/RESET] button on the AS3 keypad was pressed twice in quick succession
• Activate a digital input that has been programmed to “Reset” function
• Set the tyP (F007) Parameter to: 4: Clear past trips
Discussion
E-29 indicates that externally supplied 24VDC power for control has been lost for any of a variety of reasons.
