E-42: Cooling fan fault
Cause:
E-42: Cooling fan fault occurs when the cooling fan on the ASD has failed or been disconnected.
Clearing:
Replace the cooling fan and verify connection of power wires to the unit.
Inspect the motor and driven equipment for issues prior to clearing any faults.
Use one of the following methods to clear the fault.
• The [STOP/RESET] button on the AS3 keypad was pressed twice in quick succession
• Activate a digital input that has been programmed to “Reset” function
• Set the tyP (F007) Parameter to: 4: Clear past trips
