Toshiba Releases New Single Phase Modular / Scalable Uninterruptible Power System for the US and Global Edge Data Centers, IT, and Commercial Markets

Latest Innovation Delivers Unmatched Reliability and Efficiency for Mission-Critical Applications

HOUSTON, TX — May 1, 2025—Toshiba International Corporation (TIC) is excited to announce the launch of the Toshiba 3000 SP (single phase) Series Uninterruptible Power System (UPS). The 3000 SP Series UPS offers unparalleled reliability and efficiency for mission-critical applications, making it ideal for edge data centers, enterprise IT systems, and commercial/retail markets.

Designed as a modular and scalable UPS supporting both 60/50Hz and 240/120V or 208V/120V applications and available in capacities of 6/12/18/24 kW, the Toshiba 3000 SP is engineered to meet today’s modular power needs. The UPS architecture features 8 universal shelves for either power modules or battery modules within a compact 30U rack design.

The Toshiba 3000 SP provides reliable and continuous power through advanced Voltage and Frequency Independent (VFI) / online double-conversion topology. The system supports N+X redundancy, enabling continued operation during a component failure. Modules are hot- swappable, allowing maintenance or replacement without disrupting operation, thereby helping to maintain system availability.

The Toshiba 3000 SP features an integrated RemotEye® 5 IIoT card that delivers advanced remote monitoring and management capabilities across LAN/WAN environments. This advanced technology includes an embedded web application, widely used industrial protocols, automated email alerts, comprehensive data logging, and intelligent AI-powered analytics.
