TIC knows that selecting and transitioning into a career path can be difficult for recent college graduates and, as a result, offers the BOLD program to help with this process. BOLD, or Business Operations Leadership Development, assists high-potential talent in finding their niche in our company and growing into leaders through exposure to various Toshiba product groups and business functions. The program offers three unique rotational employee development paths designed for applicable educational backgrounds: BRITE (engineering), TOP (operations), and SOLD (sales).
Toshiba's entry-level engineering leadership program. This program allows a new engineering graduate to join one of the world's leaders in the development, design, manufacture, and sale of industrial electronics products. Career tracks include Research & Development, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Field Service Engineering, Product Marketing, and Technical Sales, through a customized rotational program over a two-year period.
A one-year rotational path designed for candidates who want to be an integral part of helping TIC define and deliver world-class manufacturing processes, products, and services. All program training and assignments expose the participant to the development, execution, and improvement of business strategy and operations. Rotations include: Customer Service & Inside Sales, Production, Supply Chain, and Project Management.
This one-year rotational path is designed to provide participants with knowledge of TIC's products and tools to effectively sell these products in a competitive market. Rotations are customized to each participant's strengths and background, and are based in Houston, but include domestic travel for customer visits. The three most common rotations are Product Marketing & Inside Sales, Distributor Development, and Continued Distributor Development & Outside Sales.
Toshiba offers internships in several concentrations including engineering, sales, accounting, marketing, human resources, and legal. Interns learn about their field of interest through work experiences designed to help them expand career options, learn about work culture at Toshiba, and develop new job skills. Internships may combine college curriculum with on-the-job learning experiences for beginning, changing, or advancing in a career, or moving ahead in a major.
