Toshiba's CV-10 vacuum contactor can be used in many applications where only vacuum circuit breakers were previously used. The CV-10H has a smaller footprint, lower price, and over 10 times the lifespan of a medium voltage breaker. The HV model is specifically designed for capacitor switching, while the HA model is for motor and transformer switching.
