HOUSTON, TX—April 13, 2015—Toshiba International Corporation (TIC) today launched a new mobile app for exploring the latest Toshiba uninterruptible power systems (UPS). The app is compatible with Android mobile devices and is available here.
Customers now can explore the broad range of single- and three-phase UPS product lines and configure the best solution for each system. The app also includes a database stored locally and available offline which includes UPS specs. Other features include an engineering calculator, freight quotes, and lead times. Sales and service contacts also are included.
"The Toshiba UPS mobile app allows customers to conveniently research power quality solutions while on the go," said Greg Mack, Vice President and General Manager of the TIC Power Electronics Division. "The mobile app, in addition to the existing mobile capabilities of Toshiba remote monitoring products, provides more mobile access for an easily automated energy management solution."
The configurator function of the Toshiba UPS mobile app allows users to select industry, single- or three-phase, kVA, input voltage, and output voltage. Engineering calculator functions include formulas, battery runtime, heat discharge, and conversions.
