E-31: Rush current suppression relay fault
Cause:
1) A fault occurred on the ASDs rush current suppression relay.
2) Input power was cycled on/off very often.
Clearing:
If you are using input power to stop/start the motor, consider using the F or R terminal on the ASD control terminal strip instead. Use one of the methods below to clear the fault. If the fault returns immediately, the unit will need to be serviced or replaced.
Inspect the motor and driven equipment for issues prior to clearing any faults.
Use one of the following methods to clear the fault.
• The [STOP/RESET] button on the AS3 keypad was pressed twice in quick succession
• Activate a digital input that has been programmed to “Reset” function
• Set the tyP (F007) Parameter to: 4: Clear past trips
