EPHI: Input phase loss

Cause:
EPHI: Input phase loss typically occurs when the power has been lost on one of the three input phases(R/L1, S/L2, T/L3). In certain, rare, cases, this fault can occur when they drive is experiencing a severe problem due to an input wave form that is severely distorted by harmonic noise.
Clearing:
Verify all three phases on the input of the ASD are connected and have power. Alternately you can disable the EPH1 fault using the F608: Input phase loss detection. The ASD is capable of operating with one phase missing. Inspect the motor and driven equipment for issues prior to clearing any faults. Use one of the following methods to clear the fault.
• The [STOP/RESET] button on the AS3 keypad was pressed twice in quick succession
• Activate a digital input that has been programmed to “Reset” function
• Set the tyP (F007) Parameter to: 4: Clear past trips
Discussion
While most ASD units can be used with one phase missing, what is commonly referred to as “single phasing” keep in mind that the ASD is not UL or CE listed for this sort of application.
