Ground fault trip
Function
Inverter detects the ground fault.
If a ground fault occurs in the inverter unit or output side, the inverter will trip. The trip display is "EF2".
How to select a setting value
0: Disabled
A trip does not occur. (Failure signal FL disabled)
In this case, installation of a ground detector, such as a ground relay, is recommended.
1: Enabled
Ground fault detection is enabled.
The inverter will trip when ground fault is detected. (Failure signal FL enabled)
Please reference latest AS3 Instruction Manual more details or latest information.
AS3 fault codes, descriptions, symptoms and suggested remedies can be found in the below links. Each fault code can also be linked to directly from the AS3 by accessing the QR code on a mobile device while the AS3 is currently experiencing the fault.
