EEP2: EEPROM fault 2
Cause:
EEP2: EEPROM fault 2 typically occurs either when power to the ASD fails during a type reset or on a failure of the ASD EEPROM
Clearing:
1) Re-enter the type reset value in the tYp parameter. If the fault re-occurs, the unit will need to be serviced or replaced.
2) Cycle power on the unit. If the fault re-occurs, the unit will need to be serviced or replaced.
Discussion
All of the EEP faults indicate an issue with the ASD EEPROM. These faults will most commonly occur when the EEPROM fails and will need to be replaced. In the case of EEP2 fault, this fault can also occur due to a momentary power failure or power loss while the unit is entering a type reset.
Please reference latest AS3 Instruction Manual more details or latest information.
