DC2500/DC25000 Series is a 48V energy storage system integrated with the Toshiba SCiB ™ Lithium Ion Rechargeable Battery.

The SCiB™ Battery has high rate charge/discharge performance and reduced volume and weight giving the DC2500 an advantage over systems utilizing conventional lead-acid batteries. It is designed for a typical 19 inch rack and it is easy to expand the capacity by using parallel connection to correspond to various needs of customers.

The 48V energy storage system requires a rectifier and inverter to charge and supply power to the load. When input power is lost (Black Out Mode), the rectifier will turn off and the SCiB™ Battery will continue to supply power to the load via the inverter. The DC2500/DC25000 series is capable of utilizing the same rectifier/inverter typically used for similar lead-acid battery energy storage systems.

Remote Monitoring is available and ensures maximum up-time for the batteries so that the system will stay live during any power disruptions or failures. This monitoring will also reduce the maintenance time and cost associated with current lead-acid battery systems.

  • Designed for 48V Telecommunication, Utility, CATV, Railway Back Up System Market

  • Available 2.54kWh, 10kWh, 10kWh, 12.7kWh, 25.4kWh
